Mezzaluna

Casual Italian restaurant. Decent but not particularly giant menu. Pasta and pizza available as you might expect. Prices are moderate. Accross the street from city hall.

Mezzaluna is my first Goto place when I’m looking for a great meal any time any day of the week. I love the salmon with asparagus which I consider part of my health food menu each week. The environment is warm and friendly and each staff member is well versed in all the menu items, not to mention the 50 beers they have on tap.

We had a great in this restaurant. We liked the extraordinary atmosphere and the food. The staff members were very affable. I’m glad we eventually decided to visit this restaurant.

Quality of the food (preparation and taste) was good and the service was attentive and friendly. Nice selection of local craft beers and wine. Slight critiques: portion size is a bit smaller than hoped for at this price point ex. The fettuccini had minimal asparagus and the extra protein was only around 3 oz.

This is probably a great place for pizza and beer, but the salads and entrees we got for lunch were just okay. Not sure if the kitchen just didn't know how to make a wedge salad, but mine came in pieces, like a make it yourself. The ambiance and background noise are great though; cozy and not too noisy thanks to the ceiling treatment. Our server was great and friendly, and made the meal more enjoyable. Overall worth a try.

Very enjoyable experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Facility was clean and up to date. Food was tasty and in good quantity. I attended in a medium sized group, and the staff were very accommodating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. The only thing I'd like improvement on, is the lighting. At night, the restaurant is rather dimly lit. I understand this is part of the atmosphere, but a little more light would be nice. Over all, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would return.

This restaurant is consistently excellent. They have a make your own pizza you can order in two different sizes. I will order the small and get my usual toppings on it and it is the most delicious pizza in this region. I don’t know what they do or what they add to make it that way, but they do it right. Service is always fast and the staff is always friendly. The only negative is parking is horrendous in downtown Hendersonville.

Very friendly service. We got 2 large pizzas a pepperoni and bacon and the meatball special pizza. They were cooked perfectly, just crunchy enough and the bacon!My kids loved it.. If you are in town stop in you won't regret it!

Everything our table ordered was amazing and we had terrific service even though it was a full house on a Saturday night. The staff was attentive and personable. Everyone had a great experience and there wasn't a bite of food left on the table!

Mezzaluna is consistantly excellent. Great food, equally great staff, comfortable environment, never feel rushed, always immaculate. I love it.

The service was very fast and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food came out hot and fresh and the chicken was unbelievably tender. My only complaint is there some other guests being rude to the hostess and the wait staff but they all handled it professionally and as best as possible. Would come back again.

Wonderful food and service! John was the most awesome waiter who was so helpful, courteous, and attentive to details! I definitely recommend this place, the chef, and John!
